Relocation Reimagined

At UrbanBound, a corporate relocation tech startup, I played a key role in developing an entirely new revenue stream: bespoke reporting for companies utilizing the UrbanBound platform to relocate their employees. These custom reports provided valuable insights into the relocation experience, helping employers better understand the impact of their relocation programs on employee satisfaction and retention.

The process began with surveying employees who had recently relocated for their roles, gathering both quantitative data and qualitative feedback about their experiences. I analyzed this data to uncover trends and insights, which I then transformed into detailed, visually engaging reports. Each report was carefully branded for the client and tailored to reflect the specific location, ensuring it resonated with the company and its workforce.

To scale this offering, I developed a templated system of infographics that streamlined the design process while maintaining a high level of customization. The final reports captured the nuances of life after a big move, highlighting employee sentiment, key challenges, and areas of opportunity. This approach proved highly effective, enabling UrbanBound to deliver actionable insights to leading companies like Yelp, Wayfair, Red Bull, and Zenefits.

The success of this initiative demonstrated the power of data visualization in driving customer engagement and creating new business opportunities, turning raw data into compelling stories that supported decision-making and strengthened customer relationships.
